“Digital Culture Bridge” Cooperation Protocol Signed Between DESİL and Balkan Studies Foundation
The Digital Sustainable Leadership Association (DESİL) and the Balkan Studies Foundation (BSF) have signed a cooperation protocol under the “Digital Culture Bridge Project.” The agreement aims to document and promote the shared historical and cultural ties between Türkiye and the Balkan countries through digital means.
The protocol was signed by Yasin Yavuz on behalf of DESİL and Sevba Abdula on behalf of BSF. Both parties emphasized that the project will strengthen cultural interaction between the two regions and actively engage young people in creative production processes.
The project will involve youth aged 13–18 in educational programs, workshops, student exchanges, and audiovisual documentation activities. These initiatives will be carried out in cooperation with local partners across regions that reflect the traces of Ottoman civilization.
DESİL will oversee overall coordination, content design, educational material development, and management of digital platforms. BSF will be responsible for local promotion, participant communication, and event organization, ensuring all processes comply with data protection and ethical standards.
The protocol places special emphasis on protecting intellectual property rights. All project-related content will remain under DESİL’s ownership, while partner organizations will adhere to proper citation and visibility standards when using shared materials.
